Blue-sky meetings:

  The Blue-Sky Group is a gathering of faculty, staff, and students to informally discuss and implement ideas that might enhance student education and benefit the ECE department. The premise is to identify areas within the department that can be improved and then openly brainstorm about ways in which the improvements can be made. Oftentimes, the focus is on creating a better environment for the students. It's also a good time to discuss and make plans for how student fee money can best be spent.
